📈 Why does Byte show token usage but no messages?
Every agent runs on a heartbeat — a regular wake-up that fires even when there's nothing to deliver. Each wake-up costs tokens: the agent reads its instructions, checks the time, evaluates its task list, and decides there's nothing to send. Tokens ≠ messages sent. If Byte's cron jobs are broken or its WhatsApp isn't connected, it keeps waking up, consuming tokens, producing no output.
